Paolo Contis Thanked Supporters and Bashers for Being Eat Bulaga Hosts for 1 Week
Actor-comedian and now one of the new hosts of the noontime show Eat Bulaga Paolo Contis thanked their supporters and bashers.
Paolo began the Saturday broadcast of the new Eat Bulaga by praising the show’s viewers, cohosts, and staff for making it one week after the departure of old hosts. Paolo takes over for the previous hosts, who quit owing to major concerns.
“Mga Dabarkads, unang Sabado po namin ngayon. Guys, congratulations to us, naka isang linggo tayo. Lahat ng pagod, lahat ng effort na araw araw makasama namin kayo, lahat ng pangaalipusta, lahat ng pambabash, lahat ng pagmumura sa amin ng mga tao, lahat po ‘yan, inspirasyon namin ‘yan to do better,” he said.
Paolo also took the opportunity to praise the program’s detractors. According to him, they are reading netizen remarks, some of which are positive and some of which are bad.
“Binabasa po namin lahat ‘yan pero siyampre ‘yung magagandang comments nababasa rin po namin ‘yan kaya maraming maraming salamat po sa inyo,” he said.
Meanwhile, Paolo reminded the audience that the hosts are not solely accountable for the show. He highlighted that everyone is affected, particularly the employees because they must accept the project in order to earn money.
“Ang ‘Eat Bulaga’ po, hindi lang po kami ‘yan, hindi lang po mga artista ‘yan, kasama po lahat ng nasa likod ng camera para maitaguyod po namin ‘yung programa para sa inyo. Ngayon, ‘pag nagkaiwanan, ang pinaka apektado po, sila. Kasi kaming mga artisa, may iba kaming show, may iba kaming puwedeng pagkakitaan. Ito po ang kabuhayan nila,” he said.
