The Blackview BV8900 was announced on May 29, 2023, and released on June 12, 2023. The rugged smartphone is available in three colors: Black, Orange, and Green. It is fueled with a non-removable Li-Po 10,380 mAh battery + fast battery charging 33W.
Body & Display:
The dimension of the phone is 172.4 x 82.2 x 19.8 mm and weighs 398 grams. It features a 6.5 inches screen size and the display is IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen that provides 1080 x 2408 pixels resolution.
Platform:
BV8900 is powered by Mediatek Helio P90 (12nm) Octa-core processor coupled with a PowerVR GM9446 graphics processing unit (GPU). It runs on Android 13 with DokeOS v3.1 operating system. It is integrated with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It also supports expandable microSD storage up to 1TB.
Main Camera:
Blackview BV8900 sports a dual-camera setup at the back comprising of a 64-megapixel + 5-megapixel (night) with FLIR Thermal sensor. It features autofocus, continuous shooting, digital zoom, HDR, and touch focus.
Selfie Camera:
For clicking selfies and self-shooting videos, there is a single camera on the front that features a 16-megapixel camera. It features FaceID.
