Arnold Clavio Reacts to Sara Duterte Statement vs Martin Romualdez

Arnold Clavio Recalls Statement of Sara Duterte Against Martin Romualdez

Veteran broadcast journalist Arnold Clavio recalled the statement of Vice President Sara Duterte against Martin Romualdez.

Clavio recounted on Instagram VP Duterte’s statement to House Speaker Martin Romualdez regarding the assistance she received during the elections. Duterte previously denied that Romualdez sought to persuade her to run for higher position.

ā€œSpeaker Martin Romualdez had absolutely nothing to do with my decision to run for Vice President. To say that he ā€œtremendously helped in pushing forā€ my Vice President is acutely inaccurate,ā€ she said.

Arnold, on the other hand, released a video of Duterte giving her address in 2022 on Instagram. The video shows Duterte thanking Romualdez and honoring the House Speaker’s help to her campaign.

May dapat ba tayong pagtakhan dito ? Sa politika , walang permanenteng kaibigan o kaaway , kundi permanenteng interes lamang.ā€ he added.

Clavio even suspected that both Duterte and Romualdez wanted to run for higher office. Hmmmm.ā€ he said in his post.
