John Lapus wants to do another project with Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera
Actor-director John Lapus made revelations about the attitude of Kapuso Primetime Royalties Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera.
John was able to work with Marian and Dingdong in the Kapuso sitcom Bonggang Villa. Even before this project, John is already close to the celebrity couple. In a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, John shared his experience working with Marian and Dingdong.
The actor-director praised the attitude of the couple. He is praying that their sitcom will have its season two.
When asked to describe the couple, John Lapus said that Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes are easy to work with. Aside from being close friends with the couple, he also said that they have worked with them in the past.
“Naku! Napakagaang ka-work ng DongYan. Maliban sa matagal ko na silang friends, naging sidekick pa ako ni Marian sa ‘Show Me Da Manny’ (Marian’s sitcom with Manny Pacquiao) at pelikulang ‘Super Inday And The Golden Bibe’ kaya may rapport na kami,” John said.
He also mentioned that he really appreciates Marian and Dingdong not just as stars of the sitcom but also as producers. John said that the couple is really “napakabait.”
When it comes to his dream project with the Kapuso Primetime King and Queen, John Lapus shared the story that he thinks would be fit for the celebrity couple.
“And sana maidirek ko sila sa isang romcom about two single parents who are both looking for a second love but their kids and their jobs are keeping them apart. Ganda!” the actor-director enthused.
John also shared that he loves both being an actor and director but the latter gives him a different kind of challenge.
