Money issues surfaced as it was revealed that hosts were not receiving their talent fees like Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon. Tito Sotto also opened up that the Jalosjos family wanted to change the segments and eliminate other hosts like Ryzza Mae Dizon.
In a recent episode of veteran entertainment writer Cristy Fermin’s Showbiz Now Na with Romel Chika and Wendell Alvarez, they talked about the issues being faced by Eat Bulaga, based on the article in Balita.
It was said that a producer is ready to support Tito, Vic, and Joey once they have finally decided to transfer to another network. Rumor has it that there are other producers who want a collaboration with the noontime show.
In Cristy’s YouTube show, it was also mentioned that a “secret meeting” was held in order to have a headcount of hosts and staff members who will join the “lipatan.” It was said that everyone who was asked said that they will join TVJ wherever they go and this included the production team.
