Kylie Verzosa showcased this diamond necklace on Cannes red carpet
Actress Kylie Verzosa wore this necklace when she attended the opening ceremony of the 76th Cannes Film Festival and that reportedly increased its value.
Kylie caught the attention of many fashion enthusiasts when she attended the premiere of Johnny Depp’s movie Jeanne du Barry. She was wearing a black gown created by fashion designer Mark Bumgarner.
The second time she made an appearance on the red carpet, people did not just take notice of her gown but also her stunning necklace.
Based on the article in PEP, Kylie Verzosa wore The Midnight Pink Tears on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet. It is a 45-carat Rare Pink Pear Cut Precious Tourmaline Gemstone adorned by the finest diamonds with a total carat weight of 43.5.
Reportedly, from PHP24.5 million, the value of the necklace went up to PHP37.8 million. Kylie also wore this necklace of LVNA by Drake Dustin when she attended the Distinctive International Arab Festival Awards in Dubai in which she won the Best Actress trophy in November 2022.
Originally, the necklace is named The Midnight Pink Tears but this was remounted and redesigned by LVNA and was given a new name to honor Kylie.
“It represents Kylie’s tenacity and nonetheless serves as a symbol of both the challenges and successes that women face in patriarchal societies,” LVNA CEO Drake Dustin Ibay said.
When asked about the value of Kylie’s pieces of jewelry that she showcased on the Cannes red carpet, Drake said that all in all, the actress was wearing accessories worth “Fifty million pesos.”
