Xian Lim received thumbs-up for his MUPH hosting job
Kapuso actor Xian Lim was lauded by netizens and pageant fans for hosting Miss Universe Philippines 2023 so well.
Aside from being an actor and a director, Xian is also a good host. He has already done several hosting projects in the past and this year, he hosted MUPH, which is one of the most prestigious national pageants in the Philippines.
Based on the article in PEP, Xian received praise for a job well done even though there were some unexpected glitches during the coronation night, like the “Steve Harvey” moment of his co-host Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards.
Xian Lim’s girlfriend Chinita Princess Kim Chiu also showed admiration. The Kapamilya actress shared a post about her boyfriend’s MUPH hosting job. Kim watched the coronation night and in an Instagram post, it can be seen that she commented “Galing mo naman Xi.”
Then, on Twitter she wrote “Ang guwapo naman ng Xian Lim!!!” KimXi fans also lauded the Kapuso actor. Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi was also one of the main hosts.
Meanwhile, in a previous interview, Xian shared that being called “director” gives another level of happiness to her. The actor is also writing scripts and has already done several directorial projects.
His most recent acting job is the series Hearts On Ice with actress Ashley Ortega. For this particular TV project, Xian had to undergo ice skating training. The actor’s mom shared that it is actually his childhood dream, to be a skater. His mother showed a throwback photo of him on a skating rink.
