Michelle Dee manifested what she felt
Beauty queen-actress Michelle Dee said that she already felt that she will win the Miss Universe Philippines 2023 crown.
Michelle is already a pageant veteran. She was hailed as the Miss World Philippines in 2019 and was Miss Philippines Tourism in 2022. This year, she joined her third national pageant and became victorious.
On her Unang Hirit Guesting on Monday, based on the article in PEP, Michelle shared that since the morning of the pageant finals, she was already feeling the vibe that she will get the crown.
“Everything really just aligned. Na-feel ko na talaga siya nung umaga pa lang. Kasi iba na talaga yung energy, and I think nakita po siya talaga onstage. My calmness is incomparable, like, I wasn’t intimidated. I wasn’t pressured,” Michelle Dee said.
She added that she was really in the moment. Michelle also shared during the same interview her reason why she joined MUPH again. She said that last year, she did her best but the destiny was not on her side.
This year, she did her three hundred percent and it paid off. The Kapuso actress also shared that she is still processing her pageant success because it just happened two days ago while they were in the pageant proper for three months.
While being a pageant candidate, Michelle was still doing her showbiz projects. Aside from these, she is also taking care of her siblings with special needs. A few days before the coronation night, the beauty queen-actress was hospitalized. She underwent an operation due to hemorrhage and bleeding.
“I was fighting for my life, I was shooting a teleserye, I was taking care of my two autistic siblings, I was like, ‘Oh my God, if I pull this off, I should be in the next Wonder Woman film!’” Michelle Dee said.
