A source close to celebrity couple Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli shared that they are now avoiding projects with a “love angle.”
Before getting married, Sarah and Matteo did several projects with different leading men and leading ladies. However, it was said that the situation changed when it comes to accepting projects.
Abante entertainment columnist Jun Lalin wrote in his recent article that a source shared with him that the celebrity couple had a promise.
“Kuwento kasi ng isang source ko, may promise raw sa isa’t isa ang mag-asawa, na kung tatanggap sila ng acting projects, walang mga eksenang puwedeng pagsimulan ng intriga sa kanilang pagsasama,” Lalin said.
With this, it was said that Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli are avoiding projects with a love angle that would stir issues that might affect their married life.
“Tama naman sila. Siyempre, ang saya ng kanilang married life, ayaw naman nilang masamahan ‘yon ng intriga kapag ipinareha sila sa iba sa kanilang acting projects,” the source said.
The columnist said that with the showbiz status of the couple, it is really possible that they can choose what project they want to do. Lalin cited an example, Matteo’s choice to be a second lead in a project with Kapuso actor Ruru Madrid. For the writer, Sarah Geronimo also does not need to do projects with a love story theme.
As of this writing, Sarah and Matteo haven’t commented on this statement about their project preference.
