Kapamilya star Janella Salvador shared the story behind her memorable duet with Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez.

Janella’s breakout role was in the series Be Careful With My Heart in 2012 featuring the tandem of Jodi Sta Maria and Richard Yap. From that, her home network has given her a lot of opportunities to showcase her acting skills.

However, acting is not just the field that Janella is good at. She can also sing and performs well in the field of music.

In a recent episode of Kapamilya Sunday musical variety show ASAP Natin ‘To, she had the chance to share the stage with the one and only Regine Velasquez. Janella Salvador shared a post about this.

The younger celebrity revealed that the Asia’s Songbird told her to do the verse which was not the initial plan. “‘Janella.. Janella! Ikaw na kumanta ng verse ko.’ …was what she said because she wanted me to have more singing parts,” Janella shared what Regine told her.

Then, the actress who played Regina/Valentina in the recent Darna series said that she was really nervous and that was the reason why she messed up some of the words while singing. However, she will still share this memorable moment.

“But I just wanted to immortalize this experience and show you what a true queen @reginevalcasid is,” Janella Salvador said. This means that her dream to have a duet with the Asia’s Songbird already took place. Friends of Janella cheered for her in the comment section. “SOOO GOOOOOD,” singer Marlo Mortel, her co-star in Be Careful with My Heart, commented.
