Beauty Gonzalez has a new series with Bong Revilla
Kapuso actress Beauty Gonzalez talked about her role in Walang Matigas na Pulis sa Matinik na Misis with actor-politician Bong Revilla.
The said upcoming project is the TV version of the 1994 movie that Bong did with his wife actress-politician Lani Mercado. For the series version, Beauty will be the leading lady of Bong’s character.
In a recent interview, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, the Kapuso actress is glad to do a comedy genre.
From her first project as a Kapuso until the most recent one, Beauty Gonzalez did drama series. She is glad to be back to “dating Beauty.” Although this is challenging for her, the actress focused more on the fun side.
“Sobrang challenging, at the same time, masaya kasi you have to be spontaneous and natural here,” she said. The actress said that it is really different from dramas that she previously did in which she would always have a crying scene.
“Parang binabalik ko ‘yung dating beauty kasi du’n din ako nagsimula e, sa comedy films,” the former Kapamilya actress added.
Aside from this upcoming project, Beauty is also one of the main cast members of the Kapuso afternoon Prime series Stolen Life with Carla Abellana and Gabby Concepcion. Prior to this, she starred in Legacy: The Flower Sisters and The Fake Life.
The actress expressed gratitude for all the opportunities that the Kapuso network has given to her.
“Gustong ‘kong maipakita ‘yung nakakatawang side ko. Iso-showcase ko ‘yung pagka-Bisaya ko dito,” she said about her new acting stint. Bong Revilla is also ecstatic to have to chance to do a remake of his movie and now it is set to be a TV series.
