Floyd Mayweather To Fight Grandson Of Ex-crime Boss John Gotti
FLOYD MAYWEATHER – Former world boxing champion Floyd Mayweather is set to fight the grandson of American mob boss John Gotti.
Floyd Mayweather, who was undefeated in 50 fights until he retired from boxing in 2017, is still active in fights that do not contribute to his career record. In several of his exhibition fights, he has previously faced reality television stars and YouTube fighters.
Based on a report from Philstar, Mayweather will face John Gotti III, the grandson of the infamous former New York crime boss in an exhibition match in South Florida in June.
With a 5-1 record in MMA matches, John Gotti’s most recent appearance saw him fall to Nick Alley in 2020. Gotti has a 2-0 record in boxing since switching to the sport. The boxer is the grandson of Gambino crime family boss John Gotti, who passed away in prison in 2002.
At a press conference with Mayweather, Gotti stated that he had been a fan of the Hall of Famer since he was a young child and that he was prepared to challenge him. The 30-year-old boxier promised to be a more formidable foe.
“Make no mistake, June 11, I’m bringing bad intentions to that man…”
“And I don’t care if it’s an exhibition or not, you started to fight me. It’s no quarter. So it’s kill or be killed,” he added.

According to the report, Floyd Mayweather claimed to be a friend of John Gotti Jr. and had been attempting to get in a fight with Gotti for two years.
“I’m friends with his dad. That’s what people don’t know. I’ve always been friends with the Gotti family. That’s what a lot of people don’t know…”
“For 27 years, I’ve been competing at the highest level. And I will continue to have fun, entertain, until I’m ready to say, you know what? Enough is enough,” Mayweather added.
