Raymond also requested help from Filipinos and his supporters in order to compete in the finale. The journey of the Fil-Canadian singer will be broadcast on CityTV on May 9. Raymond first wowed the judges during the competition’s preliminary rounds by singing the smash “Heaven” by Canadian musician Bryan Adams.

The talent show audience stood up and applauded. In reaction to the great performance of the Filipino talent, judges Howie Mendel, Lilly Sigh, Trish Stratus, and Kardinal Ofishall gave him a standing ovation.

Tyson initially performed in the Top 20 round, where he sang the original composition “180” and pleased the judges, who stood up in their seats: Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie.
