Man Messing with His Cousin Pet Cat Stabbed to Death in Quezon City
Police authorities arrested a man after he allegedly stabbed his cousin to death for messing his pet cat in Quezon City.
According to PBGEN Nicolas Torre III, the suspect has been identified as Victor Villeza, 32, of Barangay Holy Spirit, Q.C. It was learned that the victim’s family has requested that the name of their deceased relative not be revealed.
According to PLTCOL May Genio, commander of Holy Spirit Police Station (PS 14), the incident occurred outside the victim’s house at 9:00 p.m. Veronica Camata Candelario, a witness, described the entire occurrence.
Candelario claims that he was with the victim, who was watching a movie outside the house, when the suspect arrived and noticed her holding her cat. Villeza was known to be irritated by his cousin’s interference with his pet.
As a result of his curse, the victim returned the cat. The victim, on the other hand, hurled it back in his face. Based on the report, Candelario only noticed Villeza standing in the corner staring at the victim when the suspect arrived home.
Villeza approached the victim and stabbed him three times as he walked home as his son called him that they were going out to supper. Following the commission of the crime, the suspect promptly returned home and hid.
Meanwhile, the sufferer was transported to Maclang General Hospital by a relative, but he was proclaimed dead on arrival at 9:30 p.m. PS14 personnel reacted immediately, as did Barangay Public Safety Officers from Brgy. The Holy Spirit led to the suspect’s arrest and the confiscation of the used knife.
