Enrique Gil was asked about Liza Soberano
Kapamilya actor Enrique Gil spoke about the current status of his relationship with actress Liza Soberano.
Rumors surfaced late last year that Liza and Enrique broke up. This came after the decision of the actress to pursue a career in Hollywood and with this, her love team with Enrique was discontinued.
In her controversial This Is Me vlog, Liza mentioned that she felt like for many years, she was boxed in the love team. However, she clarified that she will always be grateful to Enrique.
Since they haven’t been seen together as frequently as before and Liza Soberano is mostly in the US, rumors surfaced that they are no longer together. Previously, Ogie Diaz, Liza’s former talent manager contradicted the breakup rumors.
For quite some time, Enrique Gil was silent about the issues surrounding his girlfriend’s rebranding.
On April 25, the actor officially had his showbiz comeback. He signed a contract with his home network ABS-CBN and this debunked the rumors that he will transfer to GMA-7.
In an interview with Kapamilya showbiz reporter MJ Felipe, Enrique was asked about the status of his relationship with Liza. He denied the breakup rumors. The actor said that they are still together and going strong.
However, he said that this is not easy for them to keep up with the distance and timezone difference. On the other hand, they are working it out. This statement that Enrique had about him and Liza made LizQuen fans so happy.
