Paolo Contis Admits Mistakes that Led to Break-up with LJ Reyes
Kapuso actor-comedian Paolo Contis admitted that he made mistakes that led to the breakup of his relationship with LJ Reyes.
Paolo admitted in an interview that he committed mistakes that lead to his divorce from his previous partner LJ. The actor also discussed his personal relationship with Yen Santos.
On the online show “Just In,” Nelson Canlas and Aubrey Carampel interviewed Paolo about topics for which his replies were previously economical. Nelson confronted Paolo about his breakup with LJ.
“Para sa akin I think it’s too personal… Maraming factors kung bakit napunta doon sa state ng naghiwalay kami. But I have admitted that I have made mistakes. Pero marami pang hindi alam ang tao about the whole picture,” said Paolo.
Summer, Paolo’s youngest kid with LJ, is also missed, according to him. LJ and her children have been in New York for two years. Paolo was eager to go there. It was also inquired whether Paolo and LJ were now conversing.
“No. But I’m waiting for the right time and the go signal that I can. But I am trying to contact through her lawyer,” said Paolo.
Meanwhile, Paolo is relieved that his relationship with Yen Santos is now private. Paolo also addressed the public’s reaction to his life decisions.
“I guess being in a quiet relationship, feeling ko mas may advantage. She’s a very private person. Walang comparison. Again, people don’t know what happens behind closed doors. Kung ano man ‘yung nakita ko dati, iba rin ‘yung mga nakikita ko ngayon. Sa amin, it works because we’re both quiet with our personal lives,” said the Kapuso comedian and actor.
“It’s sad to say na super na-demonize kami pareho in terms of, parang super laki. Katulad nga ng sinabi mo pagdating mo kanina ‘Oh! The world’s hatest man!’ Natuto na ako. And aminin na natin, there is too much hate for me to postings and parang sa akin, so what? As long as quiet ‘yung sa aming dalawa, then so be it,” added Paolo.
