Teves Lashes Case of DOJ Remulla Son: “Bilis-bilis na napawalang-sala”

Teves Calls Out the Illegal Drug Case of the Son of DOJ Secretary Remulla

Negros Oriental Rep Arnolfo “Arnie” Teves Jr lashes the illegal drug case of the Department of Justice (DOJ) secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla son.

Teves complained that he had been treated unfairly, citing the drug situation of the latter’s son. According to Teves, he was convicted quickly, in contrast to Remulla’s son Juanito, who was acquitted immediately in the P1.3 million cocaine possession case.

“Ang bilis-bilis na napawalang-sala. Wala manlang tayong nakitang mug shot, news blackout pa, sabay biglang wala ng sala. Ngayon baliktad sa akin. Ang bilis kong nagkasala saan ‘yung fairness dun,” Teves stressed.

Based on the report, Teves is suspected of planning the assassination of Negros Oriental Governor Roel Degamo, which he denies.  Meanwhile, Remulla stated that Teves’ accusations of illegal possession of firearms and explosives are sufficient to label him a terrorist.

Teves does not want to return to the nation since his life is reported to be in danger. Teves is reportedly in South Korea. Someone also said it happened in Colombia after the US left a few days after Degamo was slain.

During a Senate hearing, Senate Majority Leader Joel Villanueva stated that his acquaintances witnessed Teves eating at a buffet in a hotel in South Korea. Teves declined to comment when asked to confirm, adding, “It’s for me to know and for them to find out.”
