Valentine Rosales was criticized for his tweet about Belle Mariano
Social media personality Valentine Rosales apologized to Kapamilya actress Belle Mariano for his “di ako nagagandahan” tweet.
Valentine received criticism from the online community, especially from the fans of Belle when he said in his Twitter post that he can’t appreciate the young actress’s beauty. “Di ako nagagandahan sakanya eh, sorry pero mas gusto ko pa itchura ni Francine..“ he said.
Valentine was apparently referring to Francine Diaz, Belle Mariano’s contemporary. This did not sit well with the fans of the latter but in a follow-up tweet, the social media personality defended what he tweeted.
In a recent interview on talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz’s YouTube channel, Valentine Rosales said sorry to Belle Mariano. The social media personality admitted that he was wrong when he did the comparison.
Valentine also said that he does not personally know Belle and her personality. “Malay mo naman mabait na bata. Hindi ako iiwas sa kaniya. Gusto ko siya makilala as a person if ever. Mukha naman siyang mabait,” he said.
He added that he was just saying his opinion as he thinks that among Belle’s “kasabayan,” he likes Francine more.
Then, Valentine apologized to the Kapamilya actress. He also pointed out that Belle has her own beauty.
Here’s Valentine Rosales’s message for Belle. “If ever mapanood to ni Belle Mariano or what, gusto ko mag… if na-offend ko siya, I want to apologize kasi you have your own beauty, may sarili kang kagandahan, mabait yung ugali mo. Hindi naman sa itsura lang ng tao yung kagandahan, sa overall yan, sa appeal, sa lakas ng dating, sa ganda ng manners.”
