Valentine Rosales Apologized to Belle Mariano Following Controversial Remarks
Social media personality Valentine Rosales apologized to Kapamilya actress Belle Mariano over controversial remarks.
Valentine recently spoke up on the viral comments made regarding Kapamilya’s rising actress Belle. Valentine made the remark during an interview with talent manager and entertainment YouTuber Ogie Diaz in his most recent video.
It may be recalled that the social media celebrity garnered criticism after claiming that he did not appreciate her attractiveness and that he thought fellow Kapamilya star Francine Diaz was more beautiful. Valentine was chastised by DonBelle fans as a result of this.
However, the social media star provided an explanation. He clarified that he did not mean Belle was ugly or unattractive. And, ideally, netizens will refrain from interfering with his tweet because it is his opinion.
“Jusko mahal na araw. Hindi ko sinabi na pangit siya ang sabi ko di ko lang na appreciate yung beauty niya, porket di nagagandahan assume niyo pangit agad? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder maaaring maganda sa inyo sakin hindi sakto lang. Kanya kanya tayo ng taste! Twitter ko yun, I tweet what’s on my mind,” he said.
“Wag niyo ko mandohan ng gagawin ko dahil wala naman kayo ambag sa buhay ko, wala nga ako pekelam sa opinion niyo about sakin kaya wag kayo mangelam. We are all entitled to our own opinion,” he added.
Meanwhile, in Ogie’s most recent interview with him, Valentine begged Belle to apologize if she could watch Ogie’s interview with him. Valentine recognized that he erred in comparing Francine to Belle, but he did not imply that Belle was “ugly” or unattractive.
“If ever mapanood ito ni Belle, if nao-offend ko siya, I want to apologize. You have your own beauty, may sarili kang kagandahan, mabait yung ugali mo… hindi lamang naman sa hitsura ng tao yung kagandahan, sa overall ‘yan…” said Valentine during the interview.
