Drug Pusher Hiding Illegal Drugs in Nail Polish Bottles Arrested
Police authorities arrested an alleged drug pusher after illegal drugs were discovered hidden inside nail polish bottles in Koronadal City.
A 24-year-old man was nabbed after attempting to conceal shabu in a bottle of nail polish. According to police, the suspect attempted to carry the illegal substances inside the Koronadal Provincial Jail in South Cotabato.
According to the report, the suspect was identified as John Anthony Bico Sucgang, an unemployed resident of Purok Spring 1, Barangay Morales in the abovementioned city. The Koronadal City Police Station received a call from the Provincial Warden of the South Cotabato Rehabilitation and Detention Center (SCRDC) stating that drugs had been seized in the facility.
According to police, the suspect went to the South Cotabato Rehabilitation and Detention Center (SCRDC) to see his imprisoned relative. The nail polish bottle, on the other hand, was discovered in its custody when it was searched as part of the facility’s standard operating procedure (SOP).
It was eventually determined that the bottle’s contents weighed 10 grams. Based on the report, a red eco bag with nine (9) pieces of nail polish (yoko brand) and nine (9) huge heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing a white crystalline material suspected to be shabu was recovered from the suspect.
According to the police report, the illegal substances seized are valued at P70,000.00. The confiscated drugs were turned over to the Provincial Forensic Unit of South Cotabato for qualitative and quantitative analysis. The suspect will face charges for violating Republic Act 9165, often known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
