PDEA Raids a Drug Den Bohol Allegedly Run by a 17-year-old Boy
The personnel of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) raided the drug den allegedly run by a 17-year-old boy in Bohol.
Agents from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Central Visayas raided a drug den in Tagbilaran City, Bohol. According to the article, the illegal drug house is allegedly run by a 17-year-old teenager and his accomplice.
Based on the report, the operation was sparked by an allegation that the man and his accomplice Mark Joseph Daroca, 30, had converted an abandoned house in Barangay Dao into a drug den. During the operation, Daroca was apprehended.
In contrast, the young man was turned over to the City Social Welfare and Development Office. During the raid, three more persons were apprehended after being caught in the drug den. German Andolana, 32, Modesto Caete, 42, and Junuel Niluag, 29, were recognized.
Seven packages of suspected shabu worth P40,800 were among those seized. The accused will face charges for violating Republic Act 9165, often known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
During the first two weeks of the month, anti-narcotics agents detained sixteen drug suspects and demolished four drug dens in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM). The subsequent operations also resulted in the recovery of suspected shabu worth an estimated PHP400,000.
