Here’s what Winwyn Marquez said about her supposed past with Alden Richards
Kapuso actress Winwyn Marquez has this answer when asked about Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards’s statement about their “muntik na.”
Back in January, during his guesting on King of Talk Boy Abunda’s Fast Talk, Alden admitted that he and Winwyn almost became a couple. He said that this did not push through because they were both busy with their showbiz engagements.
On April 12, 2023, Winwyn guested on the same show. Tito Boy asked her about the “past” she shared with Alden.
“Noong dumalaw sa amin dito si Alden, na-mention niya na muntik na… What’s the story?” the seasoned TV host asked Winwyn Marquez. The actress admitted that she saw the clip of Alden’s interview because many netizens tagged her.
She said that the actor was right when he said that it was due to work. However, she said that there’s not much to say about this. Winwyn also said that Alden is a good friend.
When the talk show host asked again, “So, yung muntik, tama yon?” Winwyn said that she can’t say that it was “muntik” because as far as she knows, there was no courting that happened.
“Kasi si Alden… I don’t know if may misunderstanding or anything, kasi he’s really kind, malambing siya, mabait siya. I feel like he is like that to everyone, sobrang bait kasi niya,” the actress said.
She added that they can talk about anything under the sun but there was no topic about relationships or courting. Then, the seasoned host asked, “Wala talaga yung deliberate na, halimbawa, bulaklak o dumalaw sa bahay?”
Winwyn Marquez stressed that there was nothing like that. On the other hand, she said that she did not have any negative reactions or thoughts when she saw Alden Richards’s interview.
The actress also shared that she is happy about the actor’s success and that he is able to do what he wants to do.
