NERI MIRANDA – Celebrity mom Neri Miranda shared her difficult experience when she was still 10 years old.

Everyone enjoys witnessing people overcome challenges in their lives. Everyone experiences challenging periods in life, and it is uplifting and motivating to see how others handle them. There are a good number of famous Filipinos who experienced difficulties as kids but overcame them to become the successful adults they are today.

Neri Naig-Miranda, the wife of Parokya ni Edgar vocalist Chito Miranda is regarded as one of the most recognizable faces in show business, but off camera, she’s one “Wais na Misis.” The celebrity mom is known for being a successful businesswoman and has motivated many Filipinas with her brilliant tipid ideas.

Chito Miranda flaunted their new Baguio home in an Instagram post on December 24. He expressed his pride in his wife in the caption. He claimed that even though he helped pay for the house, the singer claimed that Neri is the rightful owner because she had the idea for it.

Just recently, the 37-year-old entrepreneur, in a social media post, revealed her story from when she was just a little girl at the young age of 10.

Chito Miranda said that in order for her and her mother to have enough food to feed their pigs and fowl, she used to gather leftovers and food scraps from neighbors.

“Yung panahong nangunguha ako ng kaning baboy sa mga kapitbahay namin sa Subic. Yung literal na pinagsama samang pagkain na puno ng tubig at sabaw, babad na tinapay, kanin, tinapong pagkain na nakalagay sa timba sa labas ng kusina,”

“Ayun ang kinukuha ko sa kanila. I was 10 years old. After school, yun ang ginagawa ko, nangongolekta ng kaning baboy para pangkain sa mga alaga naming baboy ng nanay ko. Wala pa kaming pambili ng darak sa tindahan that time,” she added

The ‘Wais na Misis’ expressed her pride at that period of her life and offered her congratulations to others who had also endured challenges and prevailed.

“Never ko kinahiya yun. Proud ako na nagawa ko yun. Dun pala magsisimula ang pagiging entrepreneur ko. Hindi ko pa man alam that time, I was 10, perso isa yung experience na yun na masasabi kong one of the best memories nung childhood ko. Aba, ilang kabataan ang makakasabi na nangongolekta sila ng kaning baboy?” she said.

She continued by congratulating others who had gone through what she had survived. “Kung isa ka man dun, apir! Be proud! Galing natin! Naka-survive tayo at patuloy lumalaban para sa pamilya. Mabuhay ka!”
