Valentine Rosales reacted to bashers of his recent social media post

Social media personality Valentine Rosales defended his recent Twitter post about Kapamilya actress Belle Mariano’s beauty that does not impress him.

Belle is one of the rising young actresses of ABS-CBN. She has a wide audience along with her love team partner Donny Pangilinan. Together, they are known as the DonBelle tandem.

For many instances Belle and Donny trended on social media which is proof of their popularity and charm. However, it appeared that Belle’s charm did not work on Valentine.

In a tweet, the social media personality strongly shared his opinion about the Kapamilya actress. “Ako lang ba di nakaka appreciate ng beauty ni Belle Mariano? Di ako nagagandahan sakanya eh, sorry pero mas gusto ko pa itchura ni Francine..“ Valentine Rosales said.

This did not sit well with many netizens and fans of Belle slammed the social media personality. Many netizens said that Valentine was making “papansin” again and this time he is using the actress.

In a follow-up tweet, the social media personality defended his opinion. He said that he did not say that Belle is not beautiful. It’s just that he doesn’t appreciate her beauty.

Valentine also stressed that beauty is in the eye of the beholder and that if other people say Belle is beautiful, this is not the same with him. “Kanya-kanya tayo ng taste,” he added.

Then, in his next Twitter post, the social media personality slammed those who criticized him. He said that he can say whatever he wants on his Twitter page. Valentine also said that people has no right to dictate him, especially those who do not have “ambag” in his life.

He said that he is not minding other people’s opinion and so people should not also intervene with his opinion. “We are entitled to our own opinion,” Valentine Rosales said.
