Vhong Navarro Holy Week “Panata” is to Love His Wife Every Day

Vhong Navarro Vows to Love His Wife Every Day as His “Panata” for Holy Week

Actor-dancer and TV host Vhong Navarro vowed to love his wife every single day as his “panata” for this holy week.

The actor disclosed his “panata,” or serious commitment, this Holy Week in the most recent episode of ABS-CBN’s noontime show “It’s Showtime.” He swore to love his wife Tanya Bautista every day of his life, he said.

Tanya has been his legal assistant and has never abandoned him. According to Vhong, he will return to his wife with pride, especially since he learned a lot while incarcerated as a result of the claims brought against him by model Deniece Cornejo.

“Ang panata ko hindi lang ngayong Holy Week, gusto ko araw-araw, iyong mahalin ko ‘yong asawa ko araw-araw… malaki ang pagkukulang ko,” he said.

He emphasized his worst failing with her. He stated that previously, he had just considered work. He now prefers to spend more time with his wife and children.

“Malaki ang pagkukulang ko [sa kaniya]. Sabi ko nga, ‘pag labas ko ng kulungan, gusto ko ‘yung time ko — dati kasi inuuna ko ang trabaho, e — pero ngayon mas gusto ko siya na unahin nang unahin nang unahin, kasama ang mga anak ko,” he said during the show.

The Supreme Court recently dismissed Deniece’s claims against him, allowing the comedian-TV host to walk free. Bautista and Navarro tied the knot in November 2019.  Bautista, who chose to remain anonymous at the time, became a more recognizable figure in late 2022 when she publicly supported Navarro during the resurrected charges against him.

When asked whether she had a message for Cornejo’s camp during a rare media briefing in September 2022, Bautista recalled forgiving her now-husband. On February 26, he sent a heartfelt message to his wife.
