Aljur Abrenica Admitted He Cheated on Ex-wife Kylie Padilla
Actor Aljur Abrenica admitted in an interview that he cheated on his former wife Kapuso actress Kylie Padilla.
Aljur released a response to the people’s allegations against him in an interview with multimedia icon Toni Gonzaga. He revealed that other people believe he is the reason he and his wife Kylie Padilla divorced.
Aljur welcomed netizens’ criticism and charges that he is a “cheater.” Toni Gonzaga, the host of Toni Talks, asked the actor if he is the main reason for their strained marriage.
“Alam mo bang ang iniisip ng mga tao, the reason why your marriage fell apart is because you cheated? Ano ang reaksiyon mo pag yun ang iniisip ng tao? The reason why your marriage fell apart is because ikaw ang may kasalanan. You cheated,” Toni asked
Aljur answered directly: “Yeah, totoo naman, totoo naman yun. On my part, oo. Ina-admit ko yun, may pagkakamali ako.”
Toni then asked if it is that what he can say is his biggest mistake in the relationship? The actor said, “The biggest mistake na naano ko ay hindi ako nagkaroon ng time sa kanila. Noong nagkaroon ako ng takot to provide. Nawalan ako ng oras, so nawala yung komunikasyon.”
Aljur claimed that he tried everything to save his relationship with Kylie, but it didn’t work. “Mahirap kasi hindi na talaga magwo-work. Mare-realize mo na ‘I have to accept’ kasi hindi na talaga. Kasi ginawa ko na lahat. At siya rin, ginawa na rin niya lahat. In fairness to her.”
He also revealed who initiated to end their relationship. Aljur revealed “It’s mutual. Kaming dalawa.”
Aljur also admitted to the popular talk show host that he had previously been cheated on. He was asked if he had ever been heartbroken or sobbed over a woman, Aljur admitted, “Oo, maraming beses na.” However, what astonished the spectators was Aljur’s confession that he had been cheated on.
“Yeah. Ang sakit. Its so painful, sobrang painful, it breaks you. Naalala ko na parang there’s no life, wala ka ng buhay, hindi ka na magising ng maaga. A part of you dies eh. Yung worth mo, mawawala. It’s just the worst talaga,” he said during the interview.
