Vlogger Baby Giant Admits He’s Not Originally Part of Batang Quiapo Cast
BABY GIANT – The famous midget content creator revealed that he was not originally part of the FPJ’s Batang Quiapo cast.
Renz Joshua Baña, commonly known as “Baby Giant,” a midget content creator, recently addressed his latest initiative with experienced journalist Bernadette Sembrano. Renz revealed that he was not initially cast in ABS-CBN’s popular show ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.’
Renz admitted during the interview that he was not the first option for the role of Owen. Then he received a call from the Batang Quiapo production team informing him that he had been chosen for the role.
“Napunta po sa ‘kin ‘yung opportunity po,” he said in Bernadette’s vlog.
Renz, his family’s breadwinner, left his hometown to seek possibilities to find a source of income in Manila. His cousin encouraged him to make videos, which led to his becoming a content maker.
“Sobrang hirap po talaga, kayod nang kayod po talaga. ‘Yun po ‘yung mahirap talaga ‘yung sabay-sabay po kaming nag-aaral, tapos ‘yung pinagkukunan po ng mga baon namin at saka pagkain namin sa araw-araw. Mahiyain pa ‘ko dati nun eh pero sabi (ng pinsan ko), gawa tayo, ‘wag kang mahiya, kaya mo ‘yan,” he shared during the interview.
Meanwhile, Renz has decided to focus on his vlogs, which have earned him a lot of money. He fantasizes about buying a home in Manila for his family and moving them from the province to begin a new life. His social media videos have already received millions of views.
The cast of the trending and talked-about FPJ’s Batang Quiapo series starring Coco Martin includes social media influencers, TikTokirists, and vloggers. According to the actor-director-producer, he chose everyday people who could be found on the internet to be a part of his show, which airs every night.
