Model Deniece Cornejo gives a message to “Kuya Vhong” Navarro following the court’s decision to junk the actor’s case.
Deniece Cornejo creates a buzz on social media again after making a comment opposing the latter’s massive triumph. This comes after the Supreme Court dismissed the model’s lawsuit against the show’s Showtime host.
On March 13, 2022, the Supreme Court voted to overturn the Court of Appeals’ order to reopen the lawsuit filed by the Department of Justice (DOJ) against Vhong in 2014, based on the report. Deniece drew the attention of netizens once more, and some of them remembered her previous statement.
It features her famous interview on the now-defunct talk show Startalk, during which she became tearful while addressing her ‘Kuya Vhong’. According to her statement, she claims she is not powerful, but she warns Vhong to be cautious with his second life despite his victory.
“Kuya Vhong, ngayon panalo ka. Pasensiya na, simple lang ako. Hindi ako makapangyarihan. Ngayon panalo ka, pero matakot ka sa ikalawang buhay,” Deniece said.
“Ako handa akong ibuwis ang buhay ko, na nagsasabi ako ng katotohanan, hindi ako natatakot. Hindi po ako natatakot. E, mas ikakatakot ko ang ikalawang buhay diyan sa impiyerno.”
“Kung ikaw nasaktan diyan, mas matakot ka. Ako iyon ang kinakatakutan ko, e. Hindi ako nag-iimbento, dahil pag sinabi ko, kaya kong ihanda, ibuwis ang buhay ko dahil nagsasabi ako ng katotohanan,” she added.
She saw businessman Cedric Lee as a hero for rescuing her from Vhong. Deniece also criticizes Vhong for being a comic, claiming that all of the enjoyment has a sinister side.
“Tinulungan nila ako, ipinagtanggol nila ako, kaya ito ang tamang oras para ipagtanggol ko sila. Hindi nila ito deserve. Kuya Vhong, hindi ‘to pelikula, totoong buhay ‘to. Oo, komedyante ka, pero lahat ng saya, merong dark side. May kalungkutan din na kailangan mong harapin.” she said.
“Magpakalalaki ka dahil itong mga lalaki na ‘to, parang kapatid ko, nagpakalalaki. Magpakalalaki ka,” she added.
