Sofia Andres shared her dynamics as an actress and a family woman
Kapamilya actress Sofia Andres revealed why she continues to work despite the financial status of her partner Daniel Miranda.
Sofia had to take a break from showbiz when she got pregnant and until a few months after giving birth. She is thankful that she is still able to return to acting even after taking a break because of her little family.
The actress is currently part of the series The Iron Heart which is being shot in Cebu. In a recent interview, based on the article in PEP, Sofia shared why she is still working even though her partner can perfectly provide for her.
“Ahhmm… happy po ako dahil ang Star Creatives, after ng giving birth, akala ko po malilimitahan na po yung mga gagawin kong projects,” Sofia Andres said, adding that the trust and support being given to her pushed her to continue accepting projects.
Some people may think that she does not need to work anymore because of Daniel Miranda’s wealth. However, the actress said that she is working for herself. She said that this is her time for herself but when she returns to Manila from her shoot in Cebu, she is focused on being a mother.
The actress also shared that sometimes, she would bring their daughter Zoe to Cebu but the young girl is already studying now.
“Kasi… ang dami kong gustong gawin sa buhay ko. Maluho ako, e! Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha! Ang sabi po ng nanay ko, iba yung may pera ka na iyo, at saka iba yun,” Sofia said about her decision to continue to work.
When asked if Daniel is not buying her expensive things, the actress quipped, “Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha! Hindi. Kasi kuripot yun, e. E ako po, pagdating sa sarili ko… parang I deserve this because I work.”
