Veteran showbiz writer Cristy Fermin told the father of actress Liza Soberano that he should have sent his daughter to school.
Cristy is one of the showbiz personalities who criticized Liza following her vlog talking about her decision to undergo rebranding after she left her former management. Previously, after Liza’s guesting on Bea Alonzo’s vlog, Cristy shared her thoughts.
The showbiz writer said that the actress is “lukring,” the slang word for “crazy.” It is because of Liza’s statement that she was supposed to be the lead actress in Hello, Love, Goodbye.
In a recent episode of her YouTube show, Showbiz Now Na, Cristy Fermin once again threw fiery words at Liza Soberano and her father John Castillo Soberano. The father of the actress has been defending her against negative reactions after her viral This Is Me vlog.
“Noong sabihin ng anak niyo na inagaw ang kanyang childhood. Bakit nga kasi hindi niyo pinag-aral. Dapat pinapag-aral niyo ang anak niyo nang hindi pinasok ang pag-aartista,” Cristy said.
The showbiz writer said that with what Liza went through, she should have blamed her father for not sending her to school.
“Isa ‘yun sa mga ibinubutas ng ating mga kababayan na meron pa kayong paagaw-agaw ng childhood, ng happiness ng kanyang pagkatao. E kung ganoon lang din pala ang sasabihin mo e bakit ba hindi ka kasi pinag-aral ng mga magulang mo,” Cristy stressed.
Meanwhile, the veteran showbiz writer also called Liza Soberano “walang utang na loob.” It is because the actress pointed out in her vlog that in her previous management, she was not able to do the things she wants to do when it comes to her career. Liza claimed that she was not given the power to choose her projects, her outfits, and even her screen name.
