The UMIDIGI A9 Max was announced in the first quarter of 2021. The device is offered in two colors – Onyx Black and Ice Blue. It is powered by a 4150 mAh Li-Po battery (non-removable) + 10W fast charging.
Body & Display:
The smartphone comes in a 6.3 inches screen size and the display is LTPS LCD capacitive touchscreen that provides 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution. It measures 158.7 x 74.9 x 8.6 mm and weighs 205 grams.
Platform:
A9 Max is powered by MediaTek MT6771V/C Helio P60 (12 nm) processor while the graphics processing unit (GPU) is Mali-G72 MP3. It runs on the Android 11 operating system. It is packed with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The storage option can be expanded up to 256GB using an extra memory card via a dedicated card slot.
Main Camera:
The Umidigi A9 Max is integrated with a quad-camera on the rear side: 48-megapixel + 16-megapixel + 5-megapixel and 5-megapixel. It features ultra wide-angle mode, steady handheld night photography, slow motion video, macro mode, portrait mode, panorama mode, HDR, and AI beautify.
Selfie Camera:
For clicking selfies and self-shooting videos, there is a single camera on the front that features a 24-megapixel camera. It features AI FaceID and face beautification.
Connectivity options on the phone include MicroUSB, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, and FM radio. Its sensors include fingerprint (rear-mounted), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and Non-Contact Digital Infrared Thermometer.
