Pinoy Henyo Cheater Stomach Girl Goes Viral Again After She Apologizes in Japanese
STOMACH GIRL – The cheater in Eat Bulaga’s Pinoy Henyo goes viral again after she allegedly apologizes in the Japanese language.
Lyka Alburo has been dubbed “Stomach Girl” after receiving backlash online for her performance of “Pinoy Henyo” on the Valentine’s Day episode of the longest-running noontime show Eat Bulaga. Stomach Girl’ was heavily chastised for reportedly attempting to break the rules of the popular game show.
Joey de Leon also took a shot at Alburo, claiming that cheating takes away the fun of the game. Stomach Girl seemed to have gotten a lot of attention just a week after she and her partner were involved in a cheating scandal.
Alburo made an unusual apologetic video in which she spoke in gibberish Nihonggo. Even netizens who knew the language were unable to understand what she was saying.
Several netizens claimed Alburo was merely attempting to garner netizen attention and clout. They even called the video of Alburo’s apologies into question.
“Is she really saying sorry about that Pinoy Henyo fiasco? So bakit in Japanese (?) siya nagso-sorry? Hindi naman Japanese Henyo yung sinalihan nila na diumano’y nandaya sila ng boyfriend niya. Gusto ba niya talaga mag-sorry or gusto lang niya magpa-kontrobersiyal pa lalo?” netizen said.
“I learned basic Japanese as an exchange student before. I am no expert, but this is not Japanese. I only understood Kudasai.” netizen said.
“20 yrs na ko sa japan pero do ko ma gets kung ano sinasabi nya. Better ata Mag- aaral ulet ako ng jap. language,” netizen comment.
