The Poco C55 was announced on February 21, 2023. The smartphone is powered by a 5000 mAh Li-Po battery (non-removable) + 10W wired charging. It is offered in three colors – Cool Blue, Power Black, and Forest Green.
Body & Display:
The device is built with a glass front (Panda Glass) and an eco-leather back. It measures 168.8 x 76.4 x 8.8 mm and weighs 192 grams. It comes with a screen size of 6.71 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display resolution of 720 x 1650 pixels.
Platform:
C55 is powered by Mediatek MT6769Z Helio G85 (12 nm) Octa-core processor coupled with Mali-G52 MC2graphics processing unit (GPU). It runs on Android 12 + MIUI 12 for the POCO operating system. It is packed with 4GB and 6GB RAM options while the internal storage has 64GB and 127GB options.
Main Camera:
Poco C55 sports a dual-camera setup at the back comprising of a 50-megapixel (wide) + 0.08-megapixel (depth) sensor. It features an LED flash and HDR.
Selfie Camera:
For clicking selfies and self-shooting videos, there is a single camera on the front that features a 5-megapixel camera. It features HDR.
The phone’s sensors include fingerprint (rear-mounted), accelerometer, and virtual proximity sensing. It also features FM radio, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS, QZSS, MicroUSB, and USB OTG.
