Sharon Cuneta described Ogie Diaz as someone who is respectful and had a magnetic personality. Eventually, the Megastar said that she saw how Ogie evolved in the entertainment industry.

When asked why he decided to be a showbiz writer back then, Ogie said that it was because he is a big fan of seasoned actors Gabby Concepcion and Aga Muhlach. He wanted to be friends with the said actors and so he tried to get a job from veteran showbiz writer Cristy Fermin.

From being Cristy’s “alalay,” Ogie became a proofreader. At that time, Cristy would scold him for not knowing how to use “ng” and “nang”, “daw” and “raw” in sentences. With that, he would secretly go to the National Bookstore and read the materials in which he could learn.

Ogie said that now, he knows how to use every punctuation because of his effort to learn back then. Then, the talent manager-vlogger mentioned that Sharon Cuneta is really good at writing.

Ang gandang-ganda niya sumulat,” Ogie said. “Kasi ang mga message mo sa mga greeting card, na may kasamang pera, ang ganda ng mga sulat niya doon,” he revealed.

Sharon felt shy when Ogie mentioned that. “Ganyan siya magregalo,” Ogie said. Sharon answered that this happened years ago because she can’t write personalized messages now for reporters.

She shared that she really wrote different messages to different reporters. The talent manager also shared that before, they thought the messages were all just the same but when they compared the messages they got, they were indeed personalized depending on the reporter’s personality.
