Kapuso actress Jillian Ward shared in a recent interview that her dream role is to be a superhero.

From being a child actress, Jillian is now establishing her name as one of the sought-after young drama actresses of GMA nowadays. In a recent interview, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, the young actress was asked about her dream role.

Jillian said that she wants to be a superhero in a fantasy series. “Sa totoo lang po, gusto ko po magplay as superhero kasi mahilig din po ako sa anime ganon, so kapag nanonood po ako feeling ko po nandoon ako sa anime. Gusto ko pong magka-role po talaga na superhero,” the actress said.

Watching the superhero Wonder Woman inspires Jillian Ward. “Kapag napapanood ko po sina Wonder Woman parang nae-empower po ako ‘yung pagkababae ko. Gusto ko pong ma-experience po ‘yung ganon, ‘yung makapagbigay ng ganong impact po sa viewers,” she said.

The actress, on the other hand, stressed that she can do any kind of superhero even a comic or funny one. She shared that she really wants to do the fighting scenes.

Jillian is obviously fond of superheroes because, in many instances, she shared photos of her wearing superhero costumes, like Catwoman, Spiderwoman (the counterpart of Spider-Man), and Wonder Woman.

Meanwhile, Jillian Ward currently stars in the Kapuso afternoon series Abot Kamay na Pangarap, the inspirational-medical drama series. She is set to celebrate her 18th birthday on February 23. The actress just recently shared the behind-the-scenes photos and videos of her pre-debut shoot in which she wore an extravagant gown.
