Jelai Andres and Buboy Villar talked about their friendship
Vlogger-actress Jelai Andres said that she is lucky to have a friend like Kapuso actor Buboy Villar.
Jelai and Buboy are among the popular Kapuso love teams nowadays. As love team partners, it is inevitable for their fans to assume that they are also getting romantic behind the scenes.
However, as of the moment, what they are sharing is still on the spectrum of friendship. In a recent guesting on The Boobay and Tekla Show, Jelai and Buboy talked about the bond that they have.
The actor admitted that the vlogger-actress is really special to him. He said that Jelai knows about this. He even shared a past statement that he had about her, based on the article in GMA Entertainment.
“Sobrang special ni Jelai para sa akin kasi sa mga panahon na sobrang down na down ako, sa punong-puno ako ng problema in family, in my relationship, in past, si Jelai ang nagpakita sa akin na kahit ano’ng problemang dumaan, na masakit, sinaktan ka, nananatili pa rin siyang maganda,” Buboy Villar said.
He added that he is proud of Jelai Andres as a woman and he can say that she has a bright future. The vlogger-actress got emotional when she spoke about her friend.
She said that she found someone she is comfortable with and with this, she feels lucky. “Nagkaroon ako ng tao na komportable ako tapos pagkakatiwalaan ko talaga sa lahat ng bagay. Super lucky ako,” Jelai shared.
She is also thankful that Buboy came into her life. Jelai admitted that before, she does not believe that a man and a woman can be best friends. She had the assumption that in a girl-boy friendship, one is always in love. However, this assumption changed because of her friendship with Buboy.
“Totoo palang puwede ‘yon, na ang kaibigan mo na parang lagi mong gusto kasama, siya ‘yung pinagkakatiwalaan mo, at saka gusto mong makita,” Jelai Andres said, adding that she really trusts him.
