E-Heads Signed Guitar Sold for P1.3M for Gab Chee Kee Battling Illness

The Filipino band Parokya ni Edgar announced that they have sold the guitar signed by E-Heads to help Parokya’s member Gab Chee Kee.

On Facebook, the official page of the Filipino band Parokya ni Edgar announced the sale of a guitar autographed by the OPM band Eraserheads (E-Heads). This Tuesday, February 14, the highest bid for D&D custom guitars auctioned by Parokya ni Edgar reached P1,300,000.

This is for the band’s guitarist Gab Chee Kee, who is still in the hospital. This will be stated in the band’s update after the highest bidder has been confirmed.

The group is grateful to Eraserheads idols Buddy Zabala, Marcus Adoro, Raimund Marasigan, and the group’s vocalist, Ely Buendia, for their participation in the endeavor. Four members of the E-Heads signed the guitar auction, which lasted a week.

Meanwhile, in a separate statement, Parokya ni Egdar informed followers of Gab’s steady recovery from lymphoma. He is still in the intensive care unit, according to the report.

“Please keep sending positive vibes to him and praying for his full recovery. He says THANK YOU to all of you—friends, family, fans and even strangers who’ve extended help in whatever way or form,” they said in a post.

Meanwhile, the band will respect the bidding winner’s option to reveal his identity or not. Last January, frontman Chito Miranda requested assistance on behalf of Chee Kee, who is battling lymphoma-induced pneumonia.
