Dina Bonnevie has done a lot of “kontrabida” roles and this made viewers hate her
Award-winning actress Dina Bonnevie revealed the bad things that she experienced because of the evil roles she played on TV.
Dina is one of the versatile actresses in the Philippine entertainment industry who is being admired by many younger artists. She has done various roles in different genres of TV series and movies.
In a recent interview on talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz’s YouTube channel, she said that she is just mistaken as “mataray” because of her roles. Then, she shared that there was a time when she went to Davao not for a showbiz project but for her telecom business and that she was mistreated because of her role.
“Parang may guard doon sa airport, sabi niya, Ikaw ba si Malena?'” Dina shared. The guard was talking about her character in the Kapamilya series May Bukas Pa. After realizing that the guard was talking about her role, the seasoned actress said, “Ah, yung role ko po. Opo, ako po yun.”
Then, Dina Bonnevie was shocked when the guard aimed his gun at her while showing his anger for how she treated the lead child actor in the series. “Dahil lang sa role, mamatay pa ako!” the actress said.
Her “nerbiyos” from that experience was not totally gone yet but another shocking incident happened to her on that same day. She was at a mall because she had to buy a hair accessory when an old woman asked her if she was the one on TV.
“Akala ko pa naman magiging sweet siya sa akin. Pinagpapalo ako ng payong,” Dina shared. The actress was trying to stop the old woman from doing that and the latter hooked her hand on the handle of the umbrella.
Dina Bonnevie shared that while the old woman was hitting her, she said, “Walang hiya ka! Kawawa si Santino sa’yo!” The actress explained that it was just a role and then the security guard came to contain that situation.
“My gosh! Ayoko na mag-evil role!” the seasoned actress said.
