Regine Velasquez would always do this in ‘Magandang Buhay’
Talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz revealed that people in Magandang Buhay love Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez so much due to this.
Regine became a guest co-host in the Kapamilya morning talk show when Queen Mother Karla Estrada, who is one of the original hosts, had to take a leave because of her political endeavors.
Regine had to stop doing that hosting stint when she was preparing for her concert. Eventually, she returned to the show and it was announced that she will be the permanent replacement for Karla.
In a recent episode of Showbiz Update, the YouTube talk show of Ogie Diaz with Mama Loi, they talked about the upcoming concerts of Filipino artists. Ogie mentioned Christian Bautista’s concert that will be held on January 28 at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater Circuit in Makati.
At the same venue, Regine Velasquez will also have her concert on February 17, 18, 24, and 25. Then, the talent manager-vlogger said that just like other concerts, they will also be updated about Regine and Christian’s concerts. Ogie added that he will buy tickets.
Then, the talent manager-vlogger said that he hopes Regine will guest on their show. “Miss Reg, beke nemen. You’re very welcome doon sa aming tindahan,” Mama Loi enthused.
After saying good luck to the Songbird, Ogie said “Mabait yan si Regine.” Mama Loi agreed with this. The talent manager-vlogger added that when helping other people Regine is just silent.
Then, Mama Loi shared that the husband of his aunt, who was a jeepney driver in Pandi, Bulacan, was the one who would bring Regine to different places during her amateur singing contest days. It was said that even after becoming the Songbird that she is now, Regine would always acknowledge that family during holidays.
“Ganoon siya tumanaw ng utang na loob,” Mama Loi shared. Then, Ogie Diaz shared what he knows about Regine Velasquez.
“Alam mo ba mahal na mahal ng mga taga Magandang Buhay din? Nagpa-bring me. Ilang beses yun, bring me ganyan, bring me ganun, ‘day, [Php] 10,000 isa,” the talent manager-vlogger revealed. Then, Ogie had this intriguing statement, “Samantala yung iba…. hay nako!”
