The FreeYond F9 was officially announced on August 20, 2022, and released in September 2022. The smartphone is available in three colors: Blue, Grey, and Green. It is fueled with a non-removable Li-Ion 5000 mAh battery + fast battery charging 10W.
Body & Display:
The device comes with a screen size of 6.52 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It measures 163 x 75.2 x 8.7 mm and weighs 185 grams.
Platform:
The smartphone is powered by a Spreadtrum UniSoc SC9863A1 Octa-core processor while the graphics processing unit (GPU) is PowerVR GE8322. It runs on the Android 12 (Go Edition) operating system. It is packed with 2 GB and 3 GB RAM options while the internal storage has 64 GB and 128 GB options. The storage option can be expanded up to 128GB using an extra memory card via a dedicated card slot.
Main Camera:
FreeYond F9 sports a dual-camera setup at the back comprising of a 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel sensor. It features autofocus, continuous shooting, face detection, and LED flash.
Selfie Camera:
For clicking selfies and self-shooting videos, there is a single camera on the front that features an 8-megapixel camera. It features Face Unlock and Face Beautification.
Connectivity options on the phone include USB Type-C Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi 820.11 b/g/n, GPS with A-GPS, and GLONASS. Its sensors include an accelerometer and proximity.
