Maxene Magalona Opens Up On Her Friendship W/ Glaiza De Castro

MAXENE MAGALONA – Actress Maxene Magalona took her followers down memory lane as she looked back on her friendship with bride-to-be Glaiza De Castro.

Filipina yoga instructor, actress, and social media star Maxene Magalona is the daughter of the late rap legend, Francis Magalona. In May 2020, Maxene revealed that she has been seeing a psychiatrist.

The beautiful actress used to be married to Rob Mananquil but they have already broken up and have gone separate ways.

Recently, Maxene Magalona and Angelica Panganiban threw a surprise bridal shower for their friend Glaiza de Castro. On Instagram, Glaiza said she had no clue about the bridal shower and was told they were only viewing a condominium unit.

Following their wedding abroad, Glaiza and David Rainey will tie the knot once more in the Philippines, most likely during the first quarter of 2023.

On Instagram Stories, Maxene shared a few details about their surprise for the bride-to-be. This surprise included a fully furnished function room and a life-size standee of Glaiza with a “Bride To Be” sash.

In a post on her Instagram account today January 10, Maxene Magalona looked back on her friendship with Glaiza de Castro. She penned a congratulatory post for the Kapuso star.

Maxene uploaded snaps of Glaiza’s surprise bridal shower and in her caption, she wrote, “Maureen and Gladys together again.”

She was referring to her and Glaiza’s roles in the 2009 GMA Network drama, Kung Aagawin Mo Ang Lahat Sa Akin, which they top-billed together.

Maxene said she and the bride-to-be “shared a lot of fun and unforgettable memories together” since the teleserye.

“Despite being each other’s archenemy on TV, we actually became best friends offscreen with @richasuncionmudie,” Maxene continued.
