Jeremy Renner Releases First Statement & Selfie After Accident
JEREMY RENNER – Actor Jeremy Renner just released his first statement and hospital selfie following his New Year’s Day snow-plowing accident.
Hollywood actor and Avengers star Jeremy Renner had a severe accident in Washoe County, Nevada, USA on January 1, 2023. He drove his vintage PistenBully or snowcat, the vehicle used to level and remove ice.
Renner’s PistenBully weighs 14,330 pounds. The actor’s life was put in danger and he is currently in the ICU of a hospital due to blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries.
Jeremy Renner underwent two surgeries because doctors put a metal pin in his leg that was rolled by his PistenBully. It is believed that Renner is feeling better because three days after the tragedy, he was able to post on his Instagram this Wednesday morning, January 4.

After undergoing surgeries for his extensive injuries, -Jeremy Renner gave his fans an update on his condition via Instagram. He revealed that he is still too messed up to type after his accident.
The 51-year-old celebrity also expressed his love and gratitude to all of the people who support him amid his ordeal. His post came with a selfie while at the hospital, showing his heavily bruised face
“Thank you all for your kind words. Im too messed up now to type. But I send love to you all,” he wrote.
In a press conference, Washoe County Sheriff Darin Balaam presented the details of the freak accident that happened to Jeremy Renner. He said that with the PistenBully, Jeremy helped a relative get his car out of a three-foot ice slide.
Jeremy succeeded in helping to remove the wrecked car, he got off the PistenBully to talk to the man he helped. While they were talking, he noticed the snowplow rolling on its own. The actor tried to get on the snowplow to stop it from running but it was too late as he was hit by a rolling vehicle.
