Glydel Mercado Reveals She Was Bewitched By A Relative
GLYDEL MERCADO – Actress Glydel Mercado revealed that she has been victimized by “kulam” or black magic by a relative.
In the Philippines, kulam is a form of witchcraft or sorcery. A person who is skilled at this is known as a mangkukulam.
Award-winning actress Glydel Mercado revealed was bewitched by a relative. She said she suddenly lost weight until her body completely collapsed.
During her presscon of her movie “That Boy In The Dark” before the New Year, Glydel Mercado said she lost a lot of weight because she hasn’t been able to eat properly since she lost her appetite in the past few months.
The actress said she immediately consulted specialists to find out what the problem with her health was but the doctors said based on the results of his medical test that she was okay. She said her inexplicable condition continued and her body continued to fall apart until she had palpitations, anxiety attacks and fear of food.

After that, Glydel Mercado’s weight was only 90 pounds and she still had no appetite so she decided to see an albularyo or faith healer with her husband Tonton Gutierrez.
According to the person who helped her, there are two people behind torturing her and one of them is her relative. It’s possible that this the people who bewitched her.
Glydel’s feeling is that the albularyo is referring to her relative that she did not help. She said, “After taping for the series ‘Artikulo/247’ noong January, nagkaroon ako ng palpitation, anxiety attacks at fear of food. Kapag sinasabing kakain na, nanginginig na ako tapos umiiyak ako habang kumakain.
“Sabi ko naman noon ayokong ibalik, gusto ko lang gumaling. Eh, nagalit yung albularyo ko kasi lumalaban daw. Gusto nila talaga akong mamatay. After that, bigla na lang akong ginanahan kumain. Parang nagdahilan lang talaga,” she continued.
“So, inalam namin paano namatay. Ang sabi kumain lang daw, natulog tapos hindi na nagising. Sabi ko at least hindi siya nahirapan.
“Noong buhay pa ang daddy ko, tinulungan sila noon, mga 12 years old pa lang ako noon. Tapos noong namatay ang daddy ko, iniwan nila kami. Bumalik sila noong artista na ako kasi siguro alam nila may pera na ako.
“Talagang affected ako noon at hindi ako tumanggap ng trabaho for nine months. Sabi nga noong doctor, ang taas na ng binibigay kong dosage bakit walang epekto?
“Si Tonton sinamahan niya ako sa hospital, doon din siya natulog. Naniniwala kami sa tawas kasi kapag yung mga anak namin may nararamdaman, pinapatawas din namin. Kaya ang daming nagtataka bakit daw ako ganu’n kapayat,” she revealed.
Now, she is said to be okay, “Simula noong November, healed na ako. Okay na ako.”
