Ogie Diaz Reacts to Agot Isidro’s Film Winning Single Award in MMFF 2022
Talent manager and showbiz vlogger Ogie Diaz expresses his reaction to the film Agot Isidro’s “Family Matters” winning a single award.
Ogie Diaz expressed disappointment after the film ‘Family Matters,’ in which his colleague Kakampink Agot Isidro was cast, in the most recent episode of his online showbiz program. According to Ogie, Family Matters is a terrific picture that deserved to win Best Picture.
However, the film only won one award and was nominated for five others, including ‘Best Original Theme Song, Best Musical Score, Gender Sensitivity Award, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Actor. Deleter, directed by Nadine Lustre, was named Best Picture.
Mamasapano: Now It Can Be Told won the second Best Picture award. Even Isidro couldn’t hide her dissatisfaction with the MMFF’s decision for their film.
Diaz suspected that Family Matters was a victim of politicking during the awards ceremony because of what happened. According to him, several politicians were involved in the decision-making process for the MMFF awards.
Dyusko, dapat ‘yan nag-Best Picture,” said Diaz in his vlog.
According to certain reports, Family Matters has already generated P32 million. Family Matters garnered great reviews from moviegoers, who said it was relatable and that the ensemble performed admirably.
