Gary Valenciano enjoyed the Eraserheads concert
Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano described the moment when Eraserheads performed the last song for their Huling El Bimbo reunion concert.
On December 22, fans from different walks of life gathered at the SMDC Festival Grounds in Parañaque City to witness the iconic band performing their equally iconic songs. For two decades, Eheads fans have waited for this moment to happen.
Gary was one of the guest performers that night and his son Paolo Valenciano was the one who directed the big music event. The singer-songwriter reposted the Instagram video that Paolo shared.
It was taken from the director’s area at the concert venue while Eraserheads was singing their last song which is also the title of their reunion concert, Ang Huling El Bimbo. The said song was part of their album Cutterpillow which was released in 1995.
The crowd was singing along and many people were waving their hands in the air. “Here’s a glimpse of how it all can to a close as the Eraserheads did their last song for the night Ang Huling El Bimbo…but from the viewpoint and direction of @paolovalenciano as he called out his final cues for this amazing show,” Gary Valenciano wrote in the caption of his post.
He also said that this is an event that everyone has been waiting for and definitely an unforgettable one. “How could one not get emotional after celebrating life and music this way with this band?” Mr. Pure Energy added.
Gary also congratulated the band that has become a part of the lives of many 90s kids. The singer-songwriter also commended his son for doing a great job. Several netizens who watched the concert shared their experiences also in the comment section of Gary Valenciano’s post.
