Ice Seguerra Grieves the Death of Pet Dog Choppy who Was killed in Hit and Run
Singer Ice Seguerra is grieving the death of his fur baby named Choppy after it was allegedly killed in a hit and run incident.
Ice turned to Instagram to express his grief over the death of his pet dog. Yesterday, the musician posted on his Instagram page about his loss and shared photos of himself with Choppy.
“My sweet boy, Choppy, was killed today. He was a victim of a hit and run. I still can’t believe this is happening,” he said. “Durog na durog ako. Choppy ko… akala ko pag-uwi magkasama na tayo ulit. Sobrang sakit, Chop,” Ice wrote in his post.
This is not the first time Ice had lost a fur baby. The singer had a difficult 2022 as a pet parent, as Choppy was not his only pet to pass away this year.
Seguerra also lost his 13-year-old pet pug Porky last January. According to Ice, his pet Porky suffered from an enlarged heart and lung problems earlier that month.
Sharon Cuneta, an actress and fellow animal lover, gave the singer a new pet dog named Belly about a month later. However, Ice acknowledged that he was initially hesitant to have another dog.
This is because he felt she would be “betraying” Porky, but Cuneta clarified that she offered Belly as a way to memorialize Seguerra’s late pet. Gary Valenciano, Neri Naig, Martin Nievera, and “Drag Race Philippines” queens Precious Paula Nicole and Vias Deluxe were among those who sent their sympathies to Seguerra.
