Arnold Clavio Claims 1 Elected Official with “F and T” On its Name Will Be Removed from Office
Veteran journalist and broadcaster Arnold Clavio revealed that one elected official with “F and T” initials on its name will be removed from office.
Clavio recently shared a blind item on Instagram about an elected politician who will reportedly be dismissed from office for not telling the truth. According to him, the official was caught lying about the details on his/her Certificate of Candidacy.
He said in his post: “Ang elected official ang sa kauna-unahang pagkakataon ay matanggal sa puwesto dahil sa hindi pagsasabi ng totoo sa mga impormasyon sa kanyang Certificate of Candidacy.”
The aforementioned officer had a case in which the Supreme Court upheld his conviction. He continued: “Ang naturang elected official ay mayroon palang kaso kung saan ang kanyang conviction ay affirmed ng Korte Suprema.”
According to NPR, under Section 12 of the Omnibus Election Code, one who has been convicted by final judgment for a felony involving moral turpitude is ineligible to seek for elective public office. In the final paragraph of his post, he provided a hint: “May ‘F’ at ‘T’!”
Apparently, the comment part of his post was disabled but a netizen was able to make a comment on it: “Sana lang tutohanin na ang pagsisibak sa mga kriminal na naipuwesto na maaring alam o hindi alam ng mga nagpuwesto sa kanila sa poder ng kapangyarihan! Nakakahiya ang pamahalaang ang nagpapatakbo ay nagbabalat tupa…kaipala’y,” he said.
