Ronnie Alonte lost a lot due to “basag-kotse” incident
Kapamilya couple Ronnie Alonte and Loisa Andalio were victimized by the “Basag-Kotse“ gang earlier this December and the actor revealed the things that were stolen from them.
The said incident happened in Bacoor, Cavite where the newly opened cafe of Ronnie and Loisa is located. In an interview, based on the article in PUSH, the actor shared that they were from an event and they decided to pass by their cafe.
They arrive at the cafe at about 8 pm and it is about to close already. The couple took photos of their products so that they can advertise these on social media and by 9 pm they already went out to go home only to find out that their car’s window was already broken.
Ronnie Alonte shared that he was able to catch a glimpse of one of the members of the gang through the windshield of his Jeep Wrangler Wagon.
“Ang nakakatakot pa dun is tumambay ako sa terrace sa may labas. ay terrace dun eh. Nakatitigan ko pa ‘yung bumasag ng sasakyan namin. Nakita ko ‘yung mukha. Hindi ko nakitang binasag eh kaya nung nagka-police nung lumapit sa amin, hindi ko ma-explain sa kanila kung ‘yun ba talaga yung bumasag,” the actor shared.
They only confirmed this after reviewing the CCTV. The investigation is still ongoing and the suspects are not yet caught. Ronnie said that he hopes the burglars will soon be caught so that they will not victimize other people.
The actor has a lot of valuables inside the car. “Bangko kasi namin nandun. ‘Yung mga naka-save namin. Meron pa kaming crypto sa phone na nawala na may malaking halaga din. Kaya medyo nakakalungkot din. Ngayon wala na yung na-save namin. More or less, siguro 1B. Pag crypto mahirap kasi once na nawala, wala na talaga. So hindi na mabablik,” Ronnie Alonte.
Loisa Andalio said that this will no longer be recovered since the burglars could not open the phone. She also shared that they spent until 3 am the next day at the police station after the “basag-kotse” incident.
