Belle Mariano had to go through several auditions before having her chance
Kapamilya actress Belle Mariano recalled that she went through “almost 100 auditions” before becoming a certified actress.
Belle is one of the next telserye queens of ABS-CBN. Her love team with actor Donny Pangilinan is a big hit as many fans are always supporting their projects together. However, just like many artists, Belle also had to go through auditions before finally grabbing an acting stint.
In a recent vlog that seasoned journalist Karen Davila shared, based on the article in Inquirer, Belle shared that her beginning in showbiz was quite tough. The actress said that her parents were discouraging her to enter the entertainment industry.
However, Belle Mariano was so determined to reach her dream to become an actress. “I attended so many VTRs, as in almost 100, to the point na parang nawawalan na ko ng hope,” she revealed, adding that she thinks it is because she has no prior experience when it comes to doing commercials.
Those failed auditions did not hinder Belle to continue to pursue her dream. She said that the rejections she went through were contributory factors to what she is now.
“I think the process, lahat ng failures na pinagdaanan ko, lahat ng rejections na pinagdaanan ko, it’s what made me who I am now. It’s what made me do what I do now. It made me love my work more,” she said.
Because she did not give up, she was able to have the chance to be in a commercial, and from that, her career started in showbiz, and the rest is history. Belle Mariano had the chance to be part of various Kapamilya shows such as Lorenzo’s Time, Maria Mercedes, Goin’ Bulilit. Her love team with Donny Pangilinan was featured in the series He’s into Her and in the movie Love Is Color Blind.
