Seasoned actor Ian Veneracion reacted to his viral TikTok video with young actress Heaven Peralejo.
Ian and Heaven are the lead stars of the movie Nananahimik Ang Gabi which is an official entry in the Metro Manila Film Festival 2022 directed by Lino Cayetano. The said movie is a suspense-thriller.
Early this month, Heaven shared a TikTok video with Ian, and this caught the attention of many netizens. In the said video, Ian kissed Heaven’s forehead. It received funny reactions and reached 10 million views. Aside from this, the 22-year-old actress also shared a TitTok video in which the 47-year-old actor was hugging her from the back.
In a recent interview, based on the article in PEP, Ian Veneracion confirmed that the said viral TikTok video was part of the promotion of their movie. He also said that Heaven Peralejo is indeed a professional when it comes to acting.
Ian said that his young leading lady is like a veteran even though she has started in the industry just a few years ago. “I’m so happy to work with that whole team, and also her, si Heaven. Ako, siya, si Mon Confiado lang basically sa buong movie,” the seasoned actor said.
Ian added that Heaven seemed to have spent many years in showbiz already because of her professionalism and her expertise in delivering her lines. “I’m really happy na kami ang magkakasama dun,” he added.
Meanwhile, in doing their intimate scenes, Ian and Heaven needed to make sure that they are comfortable with each other first. “Pero you have to lay your boundaries,” Ian Veneracion said as he was being respectful to his leading lady.
Being part of an MMFF entry this year, the seasoned actor said that all the movies are not against each other as they are working together to entice moviegoers which will help boost the film industry again.
